History - Fox Valley Coin

Well, here it is again and hopefully it’s better now…We’ve FINALLY made lots of changes to the website with our new hands-on computer person, our daughter Michelle. Hope you enjoy the new site.

Kimberly - a village east of Appleton, 100 miles north of Milwaukee and 25 miles southwest of Green Bay.

My family's business roots started in 1892 with my grandfather. He opened a meat market-grocery store. In 1964, my father and I left and started a small coin shop in Appleton; relocating to Kimberly about 35 years ago. Over the years, we added our jewelry department and we are one of the only full service jewelry stores in the area that both buys and sells jewelry – no matter the size and value. If you have any questions or problems that we can help you with (acquiring, repairing or selling), give our daughter Michelle a call.

The majority of our business is done by mail, which makes us “as close as your mailbox”. Our main business for the past thirty-five plus years has been the COLLECTOR COIN business - not slabs, bullion or investments. We mainly deal in coins that you can touch when you look at them, not sealed in plastic or necessarily "the world’s finest" . Most of our sales are through our mail bid sales, of which, we will be running #346 this year.
